THIS HAS BEEN SUCH A FUN AND VALUABLE PROGRAM, ESPECIALLY FOR A WEIGHTLIFTING NEWBIE SUCH AS MYSELF. CAMRYN'S THOUGHTFUL INSTRUCTION HAS HELPED ME FEEL SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE USING THE GYM EQUIPMENT IN A WAY THAT CHALLENGES ME. SINCE WE TRACKED OUR WEIGHTS THROUGHOUT THE PROGRAM, THERE IS NO DENYING THE GAINS I HAVE MADE COMPARING WEEK 1 TO WEEK 12. THIS PROGRAM WAS THE BOOST I NEEDED TO COMMIT TO STRENGTH TRAINING WITH PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD FOR THE LONG HAUL.

AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PROGRAM I FELT INTIMIDATED BY ALL THE GYM EQUIPMENT, UNSURE HOW TO USE THEM, AND STUCK IN THE MINDSET THAT WOMEN DON'T LIFT HEAVY WEIGHTS. BY THE END OF THE PROGRAM, I FEEL CONFIDENT THAT I CAN USE ANY EQUIPMENT, LIFT, SQUAT, AND LUNGE HEAVY WEIGHTS—AND DO SO SAFELY WITH PROPER FORM.

I LOVE SEEING CLEAR PROGRESS LIKE WE COULD BETWEEN WEIGHT SELECTIONS IN WEEKS 4, 8, AND 12 — THAT IS MOTIVATING AND MAKES ME WANT TO CONTINUE THAT PROGRESS. I FEEL SO MUCH STRONGER AND MORE CONFIDENT IN MY BODY, BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY, AFTER THE 12 WEEKS FOR SURE. I FEEL LIKE I FINALLY FOUND MY “GROOVE” AND THE STYLE OF WORKOUT THAT WILL KEEP ME HEALTHY, STRONG, AND FEELING MY BEST AT THIS STAGE OF MY LIFE — WHICH HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING SINCE I’VE STRUGGLED WITH THAT AFTER THE END OF MY COMPETITIVE ATHLETE DAYS.

I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE. SO HAPPY I JOINED AND LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE PROGRAMS AT GOAT HOUSE. I DEFINITELY FELT A NOTABLE IMPROVEMENT IN MY STRENGTH BY THE END OF THE 8 WEEKS. I WAS ABLE TO LIFT HEAVIER AND COMPLETE MORE OF THE CHALLENGING EXERCISES THAN I COULD IN THE BEGINNING. THE INSTRUCTION AND PLANNING THAT WAS PROVIDED BY CAMRYN WAS SO WELL THOUGHT OUT. I FELT TRULY TAKEN CARE OF AND GUIDED THROUGH ALL THE ACTIVITIES. I WAS CHALLENGED AND DID NOT HAVE ANY INJURIES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CLASS TO ANYONE WHO IS READY TO UP THEIR CURRENT STRENGTH AND FITNESS LEVEL.

REFLECTING ON THE 12-WEEK PROGRAM AT GOAT HOUSE, I AM SUPER HAPPY TO HAVE INCREASED THE WEIGHT I CAN LIFT SINCE WEEK 1 AND TO FEEL SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE USING THE GYM EQUIPMENT. I NOW HAVE A SOLID UNDERSTANDING OF HOW TO EFFECTIVELY STRENGTH TRAIN. I FEEL STRONGER HIKING, SKIING, AND EVEN SHOVELING SNOW AFTER PUTTING IN ALL THIS HARD WORK TOO.
